Babbitt scored 15 points (6-14 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 1-1 FT) with six rebounds and a block in 26 minutes off the bench Monday. With Anthony Davis (shoulder) and Ryan Anderson (elbow) both sidelined, Babbitt saw big minutes and was able to produce some solid numbers. With both injured forwards considered day-to-day and his court time not assured even if they both do stay on the shelf in the short term, Babbitt is best left to DFS owners looking for a potential bargain option.

Babbitt has been alternating between scrap minutes and being glued to the bench since his exit from the starting lineup.
Babbitt has scored five total points since January 5 and has received six DNP-CDs in that time. He hasn't played more than six minutes in a game since New Years Day. A capable 3-point shooter when given the minutes, Babbitt seems unlikely to break through into coach Monty Williams' rotation unless an injury or two occur.

Babbitt went from starter to bench fodder Wednesday, failing to leave the bench.
Babbitt only played five minutes in his start the previous game, so falling out of the rotation altogether isn't a shocking development. Babbitt will need another injury to a Pelican wing to rejoin the rotation. For now, Dante Cunningham will soak up the backup wing minutes in New Orleans.

Babbitt got the start Monday, but only played five minutes and did not score a point against the Wizards.
Babbitt started because Tyreke Evans was battling an illness, but Evans ended up playing 34 minutes and started the second half. Now that Eric Gordon is healthy, Babbitt could see a dip in playing time.

Babbitt only appeared in 14 minutes Thursday in a win over the Rockets, scoring nine points (3-4 FG, 3-4 3Pt).
In his past two games, Babbitt has combined to play just 24 minutes despite starting in both. Babbitt is quietly shooting 47.1 percent from three, but isn't doing much else. The 25-year-old has just 12 combined rebounds in his past four games, and hasn't recorded an assist since Dec. 2.

Babbitt started in Tuesday's victory over the Knicks despite spraining his knee Sunday, scoring six points (2-6 FG, 2-6 3Pt).
The starting small forward job is Babbitt's until Eric Gordon returns, but that won't happen for at least another three or four weeks. Babbit probably isn't a great fantasy option, but for owners who do have him, his knee doesn't seem to be an issue.

Babbitt (knee) will play Tuesday and is in the starting lineup, the Pelicans' official site reports.
Babbitt continues to start despite the Pelicans' struggles. Since Eric Gordon went down with a shoulder injury, the team has tried to lean on several players to fill the hole, but no one has done enough to carve out a big enough role to be relevant in standard fantasy leagues.

Babbitt (knee) is questionable to play Tuesday against the Knicks.
Babbitt sprained his knee against the Lakers on Sunday, but it does not appear to be anything serious, and coach Monty Williams said there's a chance he could take the court against New York. With Eric Gordon (shoulder) sidelined, Babbitt has started the Pelicans' last four games. If he sits, Austin Rivers will likely take over that role.

Babbitt sprained his knee Sunday against the Lakers. He finished the game with six points and five rebounds in 20 minutes of action.
Babbitt's sprain could sideline him for a few games, which would leave more minutes for Austin Rivers. Still, consider him a game-time decision for Tuesday's game against the Knicks. Meanwhile, neither Babbitt nor Rivers are must-own fantasy players by any means.

Babbitt had his best outing of the season, scoring 12 points (4-6 FG, 4-5 3Pt) with three rebounds in 18 minutes in the blowout loss to the Clippers on Saturday.
This was Babbitt's third consecutive start in place of Eric Gordon (shoulder) and could become a long-term member of the starting five depending on whether Gordon opts for shoulder surgery or not. In those three starts, he has averaged just 17 minutes of court time, so is not a realistic option for the majority of fantasy leagues. His value lies in his contributions from behind the arc, hitting seven triples in those last three games.
