Scola (coach's decision) didn't play in Tuesday's 104-99 win over the Nets.
EDGE Analysis
Scola was dropped from the starting lineup in favor of Jason Thompson, but the expectation was that the veteran big man would still be available off the bench. Instead, coach Dwane Casey elected to give Scola a night off for rest, which he intimated could be a regular occurrence as the Raptors close in on the postseason. "It's a long season," Casey said after the game. "I thought giving [Scola] a rest [Tuesday] was important; I second-guessed it there for a little bit, but giving him a rest, we'll do that periodically down the stretch here." Heading into Tuesday, Scola was only averaging 17.6 minutes since the beginning of February, and the threat of more days off over the remainder of the schedule will only further hinder his fantasy value.

Scola will move to the bench for Tuesday's game against the Nets.
EDGE Analysis
Scola was already splitting time at power forward with Patrick Patterson and James Johnson to begin with, but recent addition Jason Thompson gets the start Tuesday. Since Scola only averages 22 minutes per game, it's still possible for the veteran to reach his season average while coming off the bench against Brooklyn.

Scola scored 21 points (9-13 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 1-2 FT) while adding three rebounds and a steal in just 20 minutes during Sunday's loss to the Rockets.
EDGE Analysis
He had a nice revenge game against his former club, but when James Harden is raining down 40 points, having Scola as your leading scorer isn't going to lead to many victories. The veteran forward's 21 points were more than he'd scored in the previous six games combined, so don't expect him to repeat this performance any time soon.

Scola scored four points (2-5 FG, 0-1 3Pt) to go with six rebounds, four assists, and one steal in 19 minutes during the Raptors' 104-94 win versus the Jazz on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Scola may have a hold on the starting gig, but backup forward Patrick Patterson typically sees far more playing time. Over the last five games, Scola has meager averages of 3.4 points, 3.4 rebounds, 1.6 assists, and 0.6 steals in 17 minutes per contest.

Scola has averaged 5.8 points, 2.6 rebounds and one assist over 19.4 minutes per game across five appearances in the month of February.
EDGE Analysis
Scola has seen his on-court production become less and less efficient as the season has seemingly dragged on for the forward. In November, December and January of this season, Scola has amassed per-game averages of 10.9 points across 24.0 minutes, 10.3 points across 25.2 minutes, and 8.7 points across 20.8 minutes, respectively, while barely contributing in any other category. If Scola continues his seeming decline, reserve Patrick Patterson will likely be first in line for extended minutes.

Scola was held without a point (0-4 FG, 0-1 3Pt) and had five rebounds, one assist, one block, and one steal over 18 minutes in Sunday's 112-94 win over the Clippers.
EDGE Analysis
Scola has surrendered more minutes of late to Patrick Patterson, and his terrible performance in Sunday's contest certainly won't help matters. The veteran big man has shown some scoring touch and various points throughout the season and is only three games removed from an 18-point effort, but because his production has rarely been stable over an extended stretch of time, Scola is far from reliable in most season-long or DFS formats.

Scola had 18 points (8-12 FG, 2-4 3Pt) and five rebounds in 25 minutes during the Raptors' 115-109 victory versus the Celtics on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Scola is scoring 9.2 points to go with 3.6 rebounds, 0.8 steals, and 0.6 blocks in 20 minutes per game over the last five games. Scola and Patrick Patterson each average 24 minutes per game on the year, but Patterson has been earning 31 minutes per appearance over these last five games. Nevertheless, Patterson is only averaging eight points, four rebounds, 1.8 assists, 0.8 blocks, and 0.4 steals over that stretch, and the two seem destined to share minutes at power forward on most nights.

Scola tallied 22 points (9-17 FG, 2-2 3Pt, 2-3 FT), five rebounds, two assists, two steals, and a block across 28 minutes in Sunday's 115-113 loss to the Bulls.
EDGE Analysis
Scola has proven on multiple occasions this season that he's capable of going off for high scoring nights, but his lack of game-to-game consistency often puts a damper on his fantasy value. Look no further than Scola's previous two games as evidence, as he combined for nine points on 3-for-16 shooting in those contests. He'll occasionally pay off as a low-cost option in DFS tournaments, but those playing cash games will likely want to steer clear of using Scola.

Scola scored 17 points (7-12 FG, 3-4 3Pt) while adding 11 rebounds, two assists and two blocks in 37 minutes during Saturday's win over the Bucks.
EDGE Analysis
Nearly the entire Raptors' roster was on fire from three-point range in the second half, including Scola, and as a result coach Dwane Casey simply rode the hot hands and gave the veteran a season high in minutes. It's only Scola's second double-double of the season, and while he's on a roll right now his production will dwindle once his minutes returns to their usual low-20s when Jonas Valanciunas (hand) rejoins the lineup.

Scola netted 15 points (5-11 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 4-6 FT), nine rebounds, one steal, and one block across 32 minutes in Tuesday's 103-99 win over the Mavericks.
EDGE Analysis
Scola exceeded 30 minutes for just the seventh time all season, a development that likely had a lot to do with Patrick Patterson (illness) exiting the contest early. The playing time is typically more evenly distributed between Scola and Patterson, who saw just eight minutes Tuesday before leaving, so Scola remains far from a stable commodity. That lack of reliability is reflected in his scoring totals in the last five games, during which he's tallied marks of four, two, 20, two, and 15 points.
