Williams started on Wednesday and amassed 20 points (7-15 FG, 3-6 3PT) and eight assists in a 116-103 win over the Atlanta Hawks.

EDGE Analysis

Williams has been coming off the bench all season, but it's clear Doc Rivers wanted to switch things up for this struggling Clippers team. Not to mention, the fact that Patrick Beverley is out for the year due to a knee injury obviously played in that decision as well, as this is one of the thinnest backcourts in the NBA. Whether he comes off the bench or not, Williams will play 30 minutes a game and run this offense as one of the only playmakers on this roster.

Williams will start Wednesday's game against Atlanta.

EDGE Analysis

The Clippers didn't announce the decision until just before tip, but Williams will make a rare start in the wake of the news that Patrick Beverley (knee) will miss the rest of the season. Williams, a former Sixth Man of the Year, has started only 90 of 798 career regular season games.

Williams scored 25 points (10-17 FG, 2-6 3PT, 3-6 FT) to go along with two rebounds and four assists over 29 minutes in Saturday's 102-87 loss to Charlotte.

EDGE Analysis

The veteran point guard has been a breath of fresh air from the bench for the Clippers. Including Saturday night's action, Williams has scored at least 20 points in three of his last five games. Outside of Blake Griffin, he has been the driving force behind the Clippers' offense, averaging 17.2 points entering Saturday. With little to no offense surrounding Williams and Griffin, expect Williams to play a substantial role going forward.

Williams scored 31 points (9-19 FG, 5-10 3Pt, 8-10 FT) while adding seven rebounds, six assists and five steals in 38 minutes off the bench during Monday's 109-105 loss to the Sixers.

EDGE Analysis

It was a staggering performance from the veteran guard, but unfortunately it was wasted on a night when Williams and Blake Griffin combined for 60 points, but only one other Clipper even squeaked into double digits. Williams is now averaging 23.8 points, 3.8 boards, 3.4 three-pointers, 3.2 assists and 1.6 steals over his last five games.

Williams recorded 35 points (13-22 FG, 6-12 3 Pt, 3-3 FT), sevem rebounds and three assists across 39 minutes in Friday's 120-11 loss to the Thunder.

EDGE Analysis

Williams had season-highs in points and minutes in Friday's game. With Patrick Beverley out Williams put on his best showing to date since switching sides in Los Angeles, where he was a prolific sixth man. The 12 -year veteran has shown potential in that role consistently this season, but his productivity has primarily been limited to scoring. He does offer value as a three-point shooter and could be a good addition if you have pressing needs in that category. Otherwise, Williams is not quite relevant enough to be rostered consistently n seasonal leagues unless his usage is injury-related, as it was against the Thunder.

Williams totaled a season-high 22 points (8-18 FG, 2-8 3Pt, 4-4 FT) to go along with two assists and two rebounds across 30 minutes during Sunday's 104-101 loss to the Heat.

EDGE Analysis

Williams racked up 33 outings with 20-plus points last season, so it seems likely there will be more of this to come. While he's never been a particularly efficient shooter, he's a good source of raw points and is especially valuable in fantasy formats that don't account for field-goal percentage.

Williams poured in 17 points (5-8 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 5-5 FT) and added four rebounds, four assists across 18 minutes in Wednesday's 119-98 win over the Mavericks.

EDGE Analysis

The veteran sharpshooter saw a season-low amount of minutes but nevertheless generated a season-best shooting percentage. Williams has back-to-back 17-point efforts and is filling his second-unit role to perfection, averaging 13.7 points over an average of 21.7 minutes. His playing time has taken a bit of a hit as compared to his previous stops, but the 13-year veteran is still aptly capable of serving as a reliable source of scoring and three-pointers.

Williams scored 17 points (3-8 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 10-11 FT) while adding three assists and a rebound in 26 minutes off the bench during Monday's 141-113 loss to the Warriors.

EDGE Analysis

He continues to be the only reliable offensive threat for the Clippers on their second unit, although Williams' limited production in other categories puts a damper on his fantasy value, and his shaky defense likely precludes him from ever getting a real shot at a starting role and bigger minutes.

Williams poured in 13 points (5-9 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 1-2 FT) and added one assist across 19 minutes in Thursday's 104-103 win over the Trail Blazers.

EDGE Analysis

Williams continues to serve in his typically efficient scoring role off the bench in the early going of his first Clippers campaign. The veteran sharpshooter has seen his minutes drop below 20 over the last two games, so he's receiving a bit less run thus far than in previous stops. Nevertheless, he's still managed double-digit scoring efforts in three of his first four games, and he'll undoubtedly be needed for more extended stretches at various points this season.

Williams scored 18 points (7-13 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 2-3 FT) while adding six assists and three rebounds in 24 minutes off the bench during Saturday's 130-88 rout of the Suns.

EDGE Analysis

The 30-year-old has slid comfortably into Jamal Crawford's old role as a provider of instant offense off the Clippers' bench, but Williams has also shown some impressive distribution skills in the early going as well. With the team's point guard situation still a little unsettled without Chris Paul around, Williams could continue to produce elevated assist totals, although he's unlikely to keep up his current pace in that category given that his career high is only 4.2 assists per game, set back in 2009-10.
