O'Quinn has declined his $4.2 million option for the 2018-19 season to become an unrestricted free agent, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
O'Quinn will look to capitalize on the best season of his career and test the free agent market this off-season. O'Quinn posted career highs in points, rebounds and assists a season ago while also shooting 58.5 percent from the field.

O'Quinn averaged 7.1 points, 6.1 rebounds and 2.1 assists over 77 games played for New York during the 2017-18 season.
EDGE Analysis
O'Quinn had career bests in points, rebounds and assists in his sixth NBA season. In addition, he shot the ball well, dropping a career high 58.5 percent from the floor. The Norfolk State product has a player option for the 2018-19 season at a price tag of about $4.3 million and it's unknown at the time if he's likely to opt in.

O'Quinn recorded 15 points (6-12 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 16 rebounds, five assists and four blocks across 30 minutes in Saturday's 115-102 loss to the Bucks.
EDGE Analysis
O'Quinn did it all for the Knicks Saturday night as he nearly led the team in four categories in the game. He has averaged four blocks per game over his last three contests and as the Knicks continue to look for talent on the roster, O'Quinn continues to produce with the minutes he is given.

O'Quinn finished with 14 points (5-9 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 3-4 FT), 14 rebounds, three blocks, two assists, and one steal in just 21 minutes during Friday's 122-98 victory over the Heat.
EDGE Analysis
O'Quinn was listed as probable prior to Friday's game but took his place in the starting lineup, replacing the injured Enes Kanter (back). Despite the start, O'Quinn played just 21 minutes but still recorded an impressive double-double, while also chipping in with four defensive stats. The low minutes could have been due to his hip concern or the fact that the game was well in hand. Either way, if Kanter is forced to miss some more time, O'Quinn becomes a must-own player in basically all formats.

O'Quinn (hip) will start at center for the Knicks' matchup with the Heat on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
O'Quinn was considered probable to suit up heading into the evening, so it appears he suffered no setbacks during warm-ups. Look for the big man to take on a healthy workload with Enes Kanter (back) sidelined.

Fri 4/6/18 1:36 PM

O'Quinn is listed as probable for Friday's game against the Heat due to a strained left hip.
EDGE Analysis
O'Quinn's presence on Friday's injury report appears to be just precautionary, as he played 29 minutes in Tuesday's game against the Magic and looked to have come out without any significant problems. Expect O'Quinn to be a fully go Friday as the starting center with Enes Kanter (back) listed as doubtful.

O'Quinn provided 13 points (6-13 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 1-2 FT), 12 rebounds, five blocks, and one assist in 29 minutes during Tuesday's 97-73 loss to the Magic.
EDGE Analysis
O'Quinn filled in as the starter once again for Enes Kanter (back), who could miss the rest of the season. O'Quinn now has six double-doubles in 2017-18, and his five blocks matched a season high. Expect him to continue to be a factor with Kanter sidelined.

O'Quinn totaled eight points (3-5 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 15 rebounds, three assists and one block across 32 minutes in Saturday's 115-109 loss to the Pistons.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran big man filled in for Enes Kanter (back) and performed admirably, equaling a season high in rebounds in the process. O'Quinn has demonstrated in the past that he's capable of the occasional double-digit scoring effort if given sufficient minutes, but it's his work on the glass that remains the most impressive and reliable part of his overall game. He'll potentially draw a second straight start if Kanter is unable to suit up against the Magic on Tuesday.

O'Quinn will start at center Saturday against the Pistons, Al Iannazzone of Newsday reports.
EDGE Analysis
O'Quinn will make his return to action after missing the last three games, and he'll immediately be thrust into a larger role in the absence of Enes Kanter. Luke Kornet could also see increased time off the bench at center.

O'Quinn (hip) will be available for Saturday's game against Detroit, Al Iannazzone of Newsday reports.
EDGE Analysis
O'Quinn will return from a three-game absence, and he could be thrust into an increased role, as the Knicks will be without Enes Kanter. For the month, O'Quinn is averaging 7.1 points, 5.9 rebounds, 3.0 assists, and 1.6 blocks in 19.4 minutes per game.
