Kyle O'Quinn started at center with Nikola Vucevic (concussion) out in Friday's loss to the Thunder, scoring 11 points on 5-of-11 shooting with nine rebounds and one steal in 27 minutes. Vucevic's concussion is said to be mild but we don't have any idea what stage he is in with regards to the league's protocols. If you need a big man give O'Quinn a look as a potential spot-play with short-term upside. The Magic don't play until Monday, so Vucevic will get the weekend to get healthy.

Kyle O'Quinn exploded off the Magic bench for 12 points, 14 rebounds and four assists on 5-of-10 shooting in Wednesday's loss to the Knicks. Those are career highs across the board, but keep in mind that starter Nikola Vucevic was out with an illness, and that O'Quinn had scored a total of 10 points in his previous 10 games. Maybe the hapless Magic will give him more run going forward, but as of now, there's no reason to pick him up.
