The veteran has played in every game since March 7, so it looks like Miami may be considering giving him a night off with the playoffs approaching. A decision likely won't be made until closer to game time Tuesday.

Lowry amassed 16 points (4-8 FG, 2-4 3PT, 6-7 FT), 10 assists, six rebounds and one steal in a 114-109 victory over Toronto on Sunday.

EDGE Analysis

Lowry recorded his second straight double-double and 15th of the season. The veteran guard has eclipsed double-digit points in nine of his last 11 contests and has dished six-plus assists in four straight. The Villanova product has been turning things up as Miami makes its push to lock up the Eastern Conference's top seed.

Lowry ended Saturday's 127-109 win over the Bulls with 19 points (6-11 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 5-5 FT), two rebounds and 10 assists over 27 minutes.

EDGE Analysis

Facing his former Raptor running mate DeMar DeRozan, Lowry put together his first double-double since returning to the lineup in early March and his 15th of the season. Lowry appears to be finding his groove just in time for the playoffs, and over his last eight games he's averaging 17.8 points, 5.9 assists, 4.0 threes, 2.9 boards and 0.9 steals.

Lowry supplied 23 points (8-16 FG, 6-12 3Pt, 1-2 FT) and eight assists across 36 minutes during Wednesday's 106-98 victory over the Celtics.

EDGE Analysis

Coming off of a quiet night against the Kings on Monday (nine points, six assists, five rebounds), Lowry bounced back with a strong effort, drilling six three-pointers and adding eight assists in 36 minutes of action. Over his last seven games, Lowry is averaging 17.6 points, 4.3 threes and 5.3 assists while shooting 55.3 percent from the floor (50.8% 3Pt).

Lowry produced 20 points (7-13 FG, 6-11 3Pt), six rebounds, six assists, one block and one steal in 36 minutes during Monday's 113-106 loss to the 76ers.

EDGE Analysis

Lowry was having a rough stretch during the first half of March but seems to be bouncing back of late, as he's now scored in double digits in three of his last four contests. This was the first time he reached the 20-point mark since Feb. 17, when he had 25 points in a win over the Hornets. The veteran floor general is only averaging 9.1 points per game while shooting 40.4 percent from the floor across seven appearances in March, but he seems to be trending in the right direction.

Lowry closed Tuesday's 105-98 victory over Detroit with six points (0-3 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 6-6 FT), seven rebounds and four assists across 34 minutes.

EDGE Analysis

Lowry was unable to build off a somewhat encouraging performance Saturday, dropping another dud in Tuesday's win. In five games since returning from his hiatus, Lowry is averaging 5.6 points, 5.2 rebounds, 7.2 assists and 0.2 steals per game. Obviously, he is going to be better than this, but with the Heat only playing once more this week, managers in their playoffs could certainly be forgiven for moving off the veteran in competitive leagues.

Lowry ended Saturday's 113-104 loss to the Timberwolves with 14 points (4-12 FG, 2-8 3Pt, 4-6 FT), seven rebounds and seven assists over 37 minutes.

EDGE Analysis

Lowry's peripheral numbers bolstered a mediocre night of shooting. Despite his cold stroke, it was an encouraging sign of life for Lowry, who scored only eight points over three games after a four-game absence.

Lowry posted three points (1-4 FG, 1-4 3Pt), 10 assists, four rebounds and one block across 32 minutes in Friday's 117-105 win over the Cavaliers.

EDGE Analysis

With a 25:8 assist-to-turnover ratio in his three games since returning from a four-game absence due to a personal matter, Lowry has met expectations as a distributor, but his already downward-trending scoring during his first year in Miami has plunged to a greater depth. Despite clearing 30 minutes in each of his first three games back in action, Lowry has totaled eight combined points on 20 percent shooting from the field. Lowry's scoring should bounce back to some degree once his field-goal percentage aligns with his season-long mark (42 percent), but it's clear that all of Jimmy Butler, Tyler Herro and Bam Adebayo are going to be greater priorities for the Heat when it comes to getting buckets.

Lowry wasn't particularly aggressive during his return from a four-game absence due to personal reasons. The last time he missed multiple contests due to personal reasons, he struggled in his first game back, producing two points (0-1 FG, 2-2 FT), four assists, three rebounds, one steal and six turnovers across 25 minutes in a Feb. 3 win over the Spurs. However, over the eight contests that followed, he averaged 14.6 points, 6.4 assists, 5.6 rebounds, 2.6 three-pointers and 2.0 steals in 36.0 minutes, so fantasy managers should hold out some hope that Lowry repeats that pattern again.

This simply confirms that Lowry will be back in action Monday after a four-game absence while tending to a personal matter. Gabe Vincent will move back to a bench role as a result.
