Sacramento recalled Guy from the G League's Stockton Kings on Sunday, Stockton radio play-by-play broadcaster Deuce Mason reports.

Guy, one of Sacramento's two two-way players, will be up with the parent club for at least one game to provide some extra depth in the backcourt while both De'Aaron Fox (abdomen) and Cory Joseph (heel) are questionable to play Sunday versus the Pistons. The rookie second round-pick has played just four minutes at the NBA level all season.

Guy scored 30 points (8-15 FG, 6-9 3Pt, 4-4 FT) in Monday's blowout win over Salt Lake City.

After a relatively quiet start to January, Guy nailed seven treys en route to his second-highest point total of the season. The 2019 second-round draft pick boosted his scoring average to 20.9 points per game -- the 15th highest mark in the G League.

Guy scored 26 points (9-20 FG, 6-13 3Pt, 2-4 FT) and collected four steals in Saturday's loss to Santa Cruz.

Guy came into the contest averaging only 14.7 points over his previous six games but looked more like his early-season self in Saturday's loss. Despite the recent slump, Guy ranks seventh in the G League with a 22.2 point-per-game average this season.

Guy's performance was a snapshot of his typical game this season. While he struggled from the field, he led the team with 23 shot attempts to accumulate 25 points. Guy shattered his previous career high of 34 points due largely to red-hot shooting from deep. The rookie has yet to convert half of his shots in a game this season, but he has nonetheless proven to be prolific scorer as evidenced by his 26.6 points-per-game mark.

Guy scored 19 points (5-21 FG, 2-8 3PT, 6-7 FT) while notching five rebounds and six assists in a win over Aqua Caliente on Friday.

EDGE Analysis

Guy returned from a brief stint in Sacramento and led Stockton in scoring despite coming off the bench. The rookie struggled with his shot but hit a key layup in crunch time to help seal the win. Guy is on a two-way contract, so he could see additional time in the NBA throughout the course of the season.

Guy has joined the Kings and will be active Monday against the Celtics, James Ham of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

EDGE Analysis

Although Guy has already been active for one game, the former Virginia Cavalier is still looking to make his NBA debut Monday, as he did not see the floor in his first game. The rookie was averaging 25.4 points per game in the G-League, so his activation does not come as much of a surprise.
