James has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Jazz with a sprained right ankle.

EDGE Analysis

The 24-year-old averaged 23.5 points, 6.5 rebounds and 2.0 assists in 28.5 assists and was primed for heavy minutes in the season finale, but he'll instead by sidelined by an ankle sprain. James appeared in 36 games for the Kings this season and averaged 8.6 minutes.

James recorded 16 points (5-13 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 6-8 FT), nine rebounds, two assists and a steal across 25 minutes off the bench in Friday's loss at Memphis.

EDGE Analysis

James has surpassed the 15-point mark in each of his last two games and also posted a season-best mark in both rebounds and assists. With the Kings likely to rest several regulars for the season finale Sunday, James might be in line for a big role off the bench once again.

James scored 31 points (12-17 FG, 4-5 3Pt, 3-4 FT) and corralled four rebounds over 32 minutes Thursday in a loss to Memphis.

EDGE Analysis

James came off the bench in the contest but logged 32 minutes and led all players in scoring. His 31 points nearly doubled his previous career high of 16 points set at the end of April. James' opportunities to contribute have been very limited this season, but he could get some extra run over the team's final two games now that Sacramento is officially eliminated from playoff contention.

James finished with 16 points (6-8 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 3-4 FT) in 17 minutes during Wednesday's 154-105 loss to the Jazz.

EDGE Analysis

This was a garbage-time special for James who simply got hot to close the game. He is barely in the rotation on most nights and so while this was a nice moment for James, GMs can simply smile and move on.

James is averaging 1.0 points, 1.0 assists and 0.2 rebounds in 5.2 minutes per game over his last five appearances.

EDGE Analysis

James has been a healthy DNP for every game except one in the month of April. After receiving decent minutes in mid-March, the guard seems to have been demoted back to the bench as he's been given very limited playing time since the arrival of Delon Wright. The 24-year-old likely won't receive much more court time this season barring an injury in the Kings' backcourt rotation.

James didn't score during Monday's win over Cleveland.

EDGE Analysis

James wasn't a factor in three minutes off the bench, as the guard failed to provide any statistical contribution while turning the ball over once. Prior to Monday's outing though, the guard was playing fairly well in limited minutes, averaging 4.3 points across 12.8 minutes.

James remains with the Kings as the sign-and-trade sending Bogdan Bogdanovic to the Bucks fell through, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.

EDGE Analysis

The 23-year-old was a secondary asset with Milwaukee set to send Donte DiVincenzo, Ersan Ilysova and D.J. Wilson to Sacramento, but all parties will be staying put for now. James appeared in 35 games as a rookie and averaged 2.5 points in 6.6 minutes.

James was traded to the Bucks on Tuesday in the deal that also sent Bogdan Bogdanovic to Milwaukee, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports. The Kings received Donte DiVincenzo, Ersan Ilyasova and D.J. Wilson.

EDGE Analysis

A second-round pick in last year's draft, James appeared in 34 games for the Kings, averaging 5.8 points, 2.4 rebounds and 1.2 assists in the nine appearances that he saw double-digit minutes. He's not expected to play a significant role with the Bucks, but we've yet to see exactly how free agency shakes out.

James (kneecap) shared that his knee is "100 percent" healthy, James Ham of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

EDGE Analysis

James needed a PRP injection in his knee in mid-March, and he's since recovered from the tendinitis that was ailing him. His role with the team will likely still be relatively small during the resumed season. He's played 218 minutes in 33 games and has totaled 85 points, 30 rebounds, 16 assists, nine blocks and six steals.

James received a PRP injection to treat patellar tendinitis in his right knee, and his status will be updated in 1-2 weeks, Jason Anderson of The Sacramento Bee reports.

EDGE Analysis

James hasn't been a consistent rotation piece for the Kings lately, so this injury shouldn't affect coach Luke Walton's rotation. We should receive an update on James' status once he's re-evaluated.
