Miami Heat guard/forward Josh Richardson said he wants to take the next step on offense by "being consistently aggressive." He admitted that he often deferred to Dwyane Wade on offense, but plans to be more involved next season. One of Richardson's goals this offseason is to improve his ball handling skills. Heat president Pat Riley said there's no reason he cannot average 18 points per game. Richardson may become someone worth taking very early in the draft next season.

The Heat originally called the injury a contusion, but have now changed it to a sprain. Richardson said he was going to play, and he did fight through the issue during Game 4. Losing Richardson would be a big blow to the Heat, especially on defense. The Heat should have an update on Richardson's status some time on Tuesday.

Richardson suffered a sprained AC joint in his left shoulder, according to Shams Charania. However, the Heat are calling the injury a contusion and Richardson is expected to play Tuesday after getting a few days off to rest. It sounds like Richardson will be good to go, but if he sits out the Heat may take a committee approach to fill the void.

Miami Heat guard/forward Josh Richardson (foot) is doubtful for Friday's game against the Los Angeles Lakers. He missed Wednesday's contest and that was his first absence of the season. He was the only Heat player to start every game before this injury occurred. Justise Winslow, Tyler Johnson, and Wayne Ellington will continue to see increased playing time if Richardson is out again on Friday. Winslow is the best fantasy option out of the trio.

With Dwyane Wade (hamstring) also out, the Heat will likely go with a committee of Rodney McGruder, Wayne Ellington and Justise Winslow to fill in. Winslow has the most overall fantasy value, while Ellington is a three-point streamer.
