Rookie Josh Harrellson had 13 points, a block and three 3-pointers off the Knicks bench on Wednesday. Mike D'Antoni's squad is desperate for bench scoring right now and Harrellson could end up being the answer. He's not worth owning in most leagues right now, but should be on the watch list of owners in deeper leagues.

Josh Harrellson started with Amare Stoudemire (ankle) out again on Monday, scoring two points on free throws (0-for-4 FGs) with five rebounds, one steal, and one block in 33 minutes. It's definitely not what owners were looking for in a spot-start, and if Amare misses more time then owners needing spot help could be looking at a similar decision. Beyond that, however, Harrellson does not deserve attention in fantasy leagues.

Coach Mike D'Antoni said that rookie C Josh Harrelson "might get a shot at Andrea Bargnani" in Monday's game against the Raptors. Of course, no announcement has been made, but this would seem to imply that Harrellson would get another start for Amare Stoudemire (ankle), especially after his 14-point, 12-rebound, and four 3-pointer effort in his stead last time. Give him a look if you're looking for a spot-starter.

Rookie Josh Harrellson started in place of Amare Stoudemire (ankle) on Saturday and blew up for 14 points, 12 rebounds and four 3-pointers on 5-of-11 shooting in 38 minutes of an easy win against the hapless Kings. Harrellson was great tonight and if you had the foresight for a pick & play, congratulations are in order. Amare's injury doesn't appear to be serious, but next time he's going to miss a game, Harrellson looks like the guy you'll want to grab. Bill Walker, who we thought might start, added 11 points, four boards, six assists and a three off the bench.

The Knicks' 6'10" center has played under 10 minutes per game so far this season and we're not expecting more than a few rebounds and perhaps a block or two. Amare is day-to-day, so there's no reason to bother picking up Harrellson.
