It's unclear if Green was actually placed in the league's health and safety protocols or if he's just dealing with a non-COVID illness. The Mavericks had their first player in Reggie Bullock get placed into the NBA's protocols Saturday, and it's not a good sign seeing Green and Frank Ntilikina also labeled with illnesses. The 21-year-old hasn't seen much action this year, averaging 2.4 points and 1.5 rebounds in 7.4 minutes per game. His minutes will likely be taken by Sterling Brown (foot), assuming he plays.
