Christopher ended with eight points (3-4 FG, 2-2 3Pt) over six minutes during Monday's 108-90 loss to the Celtics.

EDGE Analysis

One of the Rockets' four first-round picks in 2021, Christopher hasn't held much of a role thus far, seeing double-digit minutes in only four of Houston's first 17 contests. He flashed some upside as a crafty, one-on-one scorer as a freshman at Arizona State, but Christopher will need some more polishing before he's ready to contribute in that capacity at the NBA level. With that said, he landed in a good spot with the rebuilding Rockets, who could eventually begin handing more minutes to their young players.

Christopher has officially signed with the Rockets, according to Mark Berman of Fox 26.

EDGE Analysis

Christopher excelled in his freshman season with Arizona State, averaging 14.3 points, 4.7 rebounds, 1.5 steals and 1.4 assists across 29.7 minutes per game. He could have a bright future for a rebuilding Rockets team that also has several young players worth keeping close tabs on such as Kevin Porter and Christian Wood, just to name a couple. Christopher is expected to start at the G League level, though.
