The Rockets fell behind big in the first quarter and were never really competitive in their second blowout loss to the Thunder this month. Christopher reached double figures in scoring for the first time since Feb. 4, but on the whole, he hasn't seen a notable uptick in minutes since the Rockets parted ways with Eric Gordon at the deadline. Nonetheless, Christopher is still a player to monitor in deeper leagues, especially if Kevin Porter Jr. (foot) continues to miss time after the All-Star break. Jalen Green (groin) also exited Wednesday night's game, so his post-break status will also be worth keeping an eye on.

Christopher supplied 20 points (7-11 FG, 2-2 3Pt, 4-6 FT), five assists, one block and one steal in 28 minutes during Saturday's 153-121 loss to Oklahoma City.

Christopher was impressive from the field in this one, where he drilled 63.6 percent of his field-goal attempts. He also added six points from beyond the arc and made his mark on the defensive end by collecting a block and a steal. Christopher continues to benefit from the absence of Eric Gordon (rest), Kevin Porter (foot) and Jae'Sean Tate (rest), though this success is unlikely to continue once the backcourt is back in action.

Christopher logged 15 points (7-8 FG, 1-1 3Pt), one assist, one block and two steals over 19 minutes during Friday's 117-111 loss to the Raptors.

EDGE Analysis

Christopher went 7-of-8 from the floor in the loss, scoring in double digits for the third straight game. Although his point production has been nice, his playing time remains capped. He has failed to play more than 20 minutes in any game this season, remaining on the fringe of the rotation. We do know that he can contribute when afforded meaningful minutes, something that occurred down the stretch last season. He is not someone to look at right now in fantasy, but if the Rockets enter full tank mode, managers should make a point of checking in on whether his role has evolved.

Christopher saw his first start of the season Thursday in place of Eric Gordon (knee) but played just 19 minutes and scored seven points. With Gordon back in action Saturday, Christopher will be relegated to his typical bench role.

Christopher played at least 15 minutes for just the fourth time all season, delivering a well-rounded performance. This was the first time he has scored double-digits since April of last year, a huge red flag for anyone intrigued by this effort. At this point, there is no indication he will be anything more than a last resort moving forward, making him a non-factor across all fantasy formats.

The Rockets recalled Christopher from the Rio Grande Valley Vipers of the G League on Thursday, Adam Wexler of Sportstalk 790 Houston reports.

Christopher will return to the Rockets after a brief stint in the G League. The second-year guard has had a minimal role in the NBA this season, playing just 7.0 minutes per game across 18 contests.
