Jose Calderon hit just 3-of-8 shots (all 3-pointers) for nine points, seven rebounds, three assists and a steal in Saturday's win.
JC went off for 21 points and seven dimes on Friday, and it's likely the back-to-back set meant he was tired on Saturday. Calderon's next injury is likely just around the corner, but as long as he's healthy, he'll be better than this on most nights.

Jose Calderon got loose for 21 points, four rebounds, seven assists, a steal and six 3-pointers in the Mavs' loss to the Wolves on Friday.
Calderon hit 7-of-11 shots from the field on the night and the early reviews are great for he and backcourt partner Monta Ellis, even if Ellis struggled to hit just 9-of-24 field goal attempts last night. It's really a great arrangement on offense with one guy moving the ball and the other one pulling the trigger. Calderon and Ellis figure to hold their respective mid-round and early-round valuations when they're on the floor.

Jose Calderon didn't turn the ball over in 39 minutes against the Grizzlies on Saturday, shooting 4-of-11 from the field for 15 points with two boards, five assists, one steal and three 3-pointers.
Not turning the ball over against Mike Conley and Co. is no small feat and Calderon had a much-needed great game in a win. He didn't score at all on Friday and started his season shooting 1-of-15 from the field. The Mavericks should give their floor general plenty of minutes and Calderon will be worth starting in almost all leagues while he's healthy.

Jose Calderon missed all eight of his shots on Friday, failing to score with six assists, one steal and one turnover in 25 minutes.
It's been a rough start for Calderon and he's now shooting 1-of-15 from the field to start the season. That has been an area of strength for Calderon in his career with his career shooting of 48.3 percent from the floor. He does look a step slow, but there's not enough info to correlate it to his troublesome hamstring. He's more of a buy-low guy for now.

Jose Calderon hit 1-of-7 shots shots (a 3-pointer) for five points, 11 assists and a steal in Wednesday's win.
His hamstrings are always a little shaky, as was his shooting tonight, and he got torched by Jeff Teague. The good news is he made it through the game in one piece and should be ready to go for the next one. Monta Ellis is handling the ball a lot, which could mean double-digit assist nights will be few and far between for Calderon, but he did a nice job of distributing tonight.

Jose Calderon turned in his second consecutive positive showing of the preseason on Monday with 14 points, two boards, three assists, one steal, one block and one 3-pointer in 26 minutes against the Rockets.
He didn't turn the ball over and shot 6-of-10 from the field, which have been two strengths to his game. Calderon was second in the NBA last season for assist-to-turnover ratio and seems to be getting on the same page quickly with his new team. His hamstring issues are going to cause him to slide in drafts, so he could become a value in the early second half in most formats.

Jose Calderon (hamstring) practiced without limitations on Tuesday and he hopes to play vs. the Bobcats on Saturday.
The injury didn't bother Calderon at all on Tuesday. Considering his history with hamstring injuries, and how easy they can be to aggravate, we'll leave him on the injury report until he plays in an exhibition.

Jose Calderon (hamstring) will make his Mavs debut in Saturday's preseason game against the Pacers.
Calderon is a prototypical injury-based risk/reward guy and the word hamstring is always a bit scary for him but owners shouldn't overreact to the preseason. Even if you adjust for a healthy amount of missed games, Calderon is operating at a mid-round level so owners shouldn't completely write him off.

Jose Calderon (hamstring) will not play against the Magic on Monday and is expected to miss Wednesday's game.
His hamstring strain has been a major issue for all of training camp and he's been held out of action in every preseason game so far, but he's expected to practice on Tuesday. He's a risky player to take with his vast injury history, but he should produce some solid value while he's in the lineup. If he goes down, it's all the more reason to like Monta Ellis.

Jose Calderon (left hamstring) will miss the next two preseason games.
That means he'll be out until October 14 with his hammy strain. Calderon suffered the injury back on October 2, so he'll have about two weeks off at the minimum. Gal Mekel got the start on Monday and didn't play well, turning the ball over five times and shooting 1-of-5 from the field, so the Mavs need the Spaniard back badly. Calderon should be ready for the opener, but this injury has bumped him down in our rankings due to his injury history.
