Calderon couldn't be contained on Wednesday, going for an efficient 23 points and four assists while committing only one turnover. His previous season-high was 13 points, and it's safe to say this was his best game of the season. Langston Galloway and Jerian Grant typically play a fair amount of minutes, but coach Derek Fisher has shown a willingness to play Galloway at shooting guard, so Calderon could continue to see a decent amount of playing time even if Grant starts earning more minutes.

Calderon managed just four points and two assists in his 32 minutes of playing against Miami.

EDGE Analysis

Calderon has been New York's starting point guard all season and is playing 25.6 minutes per game which is lower than his career average. He shares a fair amount of time with backups Langston Galloway and Jerian Grant, and as a result is averaging only 7.3 points and 3.4 assists per game which are also below his normal career numbers.

Calderon contributed 14 points (6-12 FG, 2-6 3Pt), five rebounds, three assists, and two steals in 35 minutes during the Knicks' 99-95 win versus the Lakers on Sunday.

EDGE Analysis

After three straight stinkers this week, Calderon actually resembled his former self on Sunday, albeit against a porous Lakers defense. Langston Galloway and Jerian Grant will be knocking on the door for minutes at point guard all season, but those two combined to play 45 minutes on Sunday, so it seems Knicks' coach Derek Fisher has no problem running multi-guard lineups. Still, this was the first time Calderon cracked 30 minutes, and his best days on the hardwood are undoubtedly behind him.

Calderon posted just six points, two assists, and one steal in 23 minutes of action Monday against the Spurs.

EDGE Analysis

Calderon has managed to hold onto the starting spot, but he's been producing just 5.3 points, 1.0 rebound, 1.8 assists, and 0.8 steals over the first four games of the season. Even if he remains a starter for longer, he's not worth much in the fantasy landscape.

Calderon put up 17 points 6-11 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), eight rebounds, three assists, and one steal in a loss to Boston on Thursday.

EDGE Analysis

Calderon turned back the clock here and put in his best performance of the preseason thus far. There's not a whole lot of upside in drafting Calderon for fantasy, but he's in a good situation and should improve on his numbers from last season. As the primary point guard in a triangle offense and the ability Calderon has to shoot the ball, he could be a sneaky pick at the end of a deeper draft.

Calderon collected four points (2-3 FG), two assists, and three rebounds over 19 minutes in Monday's 94-88 victory over the Sixers.

Calderon continues to round back into shape after an Achilles' injury cut his 2014-15 campaign short. The veteran point guard has started all three preseason contests he has played in, and is expected to tally close to 30 minutes a game this season. Calderon faces competition for minutes from second-year man pro Langston Galloway, who turned in a solid rookie campaign, particularly after Caleron's injury.

Knicks coach Derek Fisher confirmed Calderon (Achilles) will start at point guard in Wednesday's preseason opener against Brazilian team Bauru Basket, Ian Begley of ESPN New York reports.

The Achilles' injury spelled an early end to Calderon's 2014-15 season, but with a full offseason to recover, he'll be back in action to direct the Knicks offense.
