With Gary Payton suffering a fractured elbow, coach Steve Kerr will opt to start Kuminga while still bringing Jordan Poole off the bench for a spark in the second unit. Kuminga hasn't seen more than 15 minutes in any playoff game, but he figures to garner a bigger workload in this situation. In his 12 starts this season, he's averaged 12.3 points, 5.1 rebounds and 1.4 assists in 24.3 minutes.

Kuminga recorded 17 points (6-11 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 3-6 FT), five rebounds, four assists, one block and one steal in 31 minutes during Sunday's 109-90 victory over the Kings.

EDGE Analysis

The rookie continues to look good when given the opportunity to shine. After playing only nine combined minutes over the Warriors' previous two games, Kuminga saw extended action off the bench with Otto Porter and Klay Thompson resting. Across the 18 games this season in which he's played at least 25 minutes, Kuminga is averaging 17.6 points, 5.9 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 0.8 steals, 0.8 blocks and 1.3 threes.

Kuminga will come off the bench Wednesday against the Suns.

EDGE Analysis

The rookie first-round pick started the past four games and averaged 11.3 points, 4.8 rebounds and 1.5 assists in 23.3 minutes, but Draymond Green and Kevon Looney will start in the frontcourt Wednesday. Kuminga should still be included in the rotation off the bench.

Kuminga amassed 15 points (4-11 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 7-10 FT), seven rebounds, four assists, two blocks and one steal across 35 minutes during Monday's 123-95 loss to the Grizzlies.

Kuminga made his fourth straight start for the Warriors and put together his best all-around performance over that stretch, leading the team in both rebounds and assists. The rookie forward didn't shoot the ball well but did get to the line 10 times, converting seven of his attempts. Kuminga bounced back from a two-game stretch during which he averaged just 4.0 points and went a combined 2-for-11 from the field.

Kuminga fouled out of Wednesday's 118-104 victory over the Heat after recording 22 points (9-17 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 4-8 FT), five rebounds and one assist across 30 minutes.

EDGE Analysis

Kuminga shifted into the starting lineup with Draymond Green given the night off as the Warriors continue to manage his return from injury. It was a productive night for the rookie, scoring at least 20 points for just the fifth time this season. Kuminga has been able to flash some intriguing upside thus far but on most nights, the playing time just isn't there when it comes to standard league viability.

Kuminga will start Wednesday's game against the Heat, Kendra Andrews of ESPN reports.

EDGE Analysis

With the Warriors resting several key players once again, they'll go with a new starting five featuring Kuminga at one forward spot alongside Andrew Wiggins. They'll be joined by Kevon Looney, Jordan Poole and Moses Moody.

Kuminga will come off the bench for Wednesday's game against the Celtics, Kendra Andrews of ESPN.com reports.

With Otto Porter moving into the starting lineup Wednesday, Kuminga will shift back to a reserve role. The rookie is averaging 9.1 points and 3.3 rebounds in 16.3 minutes per game this season.

Kuminga chipped in 14 points (6-16 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 11 rebounds, one assist and one block over 28 minutes during Saturday's 122-109 victory over the Bucks.

It's the rookie's second double-double of the season, with the first coming Jan. 18 in a spot start against the Pistons. Kuminga has been a solid addition to the Warriors' bench, and over his last 10 games he's averaging 14.6 points, 4.9 boards, 1.5 threes and 1.4 assists in 23.9 minutes.

Kuminga ended Tuesday's 112-97 win over the Clippers with 21 points (7-12 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 5-6 FT), six rebounds and six assists across 26 minutes.

EDGE Analysis

Kuminga came off the bench and posted the team's best scoring total. He's continuing a great run of production and has been one of the most impressive rookies after the All-Star break. Draymond Green's (back) return is imminent, but while he Green is out, Kuminga should continue to make him a relevant part of the offense.

Kuminga finished with 18 points (7-10 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 1-3 FT), five rebounds and two steals across 29 minutes during Saturday's 124-116 loss to the Lakers.

EDGE Analysis

Kuminga picked up some of the slack for the Warriors on offense as both Klay Thompson and Andrew Wiggins struggled to get their shots to drop. The rookie finished with his highest scoring total since Feb. 12 thanks to an efficient 7-for-10 shooting line from the field. Golden State has decided to rest Stephen Curry, Thompson and Wiggins for Monday's game against Denver, so Kuminga could be in store for more than his usual minutes.
