Wall posted 18 points (7-22 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 3-4 FT), nine assists, three rebounds and one steal across 41 minutes in Wednesday's 102-99 overtime loss to the Lakers.
EDGE Analysis
Wall had his share of difficulties in a much-publicized matchup against rookie Lonzo Ball, but he still had an opportunity to lead the Wizards to victory late. However, he was stuffed by Julius Randle in the lane with just under 15 seconds remaining in overtime and then also misfired on a would-be game-tying three-pointer against Ball as the extra period ended. Wall is just 10-for-35 from the field over his last two games (including 1-for-8 from three-point range) and has shot no better than 35.7 percent in three of his first four contests, although he's still managed two double-doubles in the early going. He'll look to snap out of his offensive funk in what could well be a shootout against the Warriors on Friday.

Wall collected 19 points (3-13 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 13-15 FT), 12 assists, two steals, one rebound and one block across 35 minutes in Monday's 109-104 victory over the Nuggets.
EDGE Analysis
Wall was highly inefficient shooting Monday night, hitting under 25 percent of his shots, but what he didn't make from the floor he made from the charity stripe, as he registered a season-high 13 made free-throws Monday night. Even when Wall is not shooting well, he dishes the ball well and works his way to the line, so much so that he can provide a double-double even on his worst days. The extra scoring, steals and rebounds he accrues are just an added bonus to his fans and owners.

Wall tallied 26 points (8-12 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 9-11 FT), 10 assists, three rebounds, two blocks, one steal but eight turnovers across 34 minutes during Friday's 115-111 win over the Pistons.
EDGE Analysis
If it wasn't for the eight turnovers, Friday would have marked a relatively typical game for Wall. He only recorded six games with at least eight turnovers last season, so a game like Friday's is certainly rare for the All-Star. He'll look to improve during Monday's game against the Nuggets, which should be fast-paced.

Wall finished with 28 points (10-28 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 8-9 FT), eight assists, five rebounds and two blocks across 37 minutes during Wednesday's 120-115 win over the 76ers.
EDGE Analysis
Wall showed off why he's one of the best point guards in the league Wednesday. He wasn't efficient from the field, but made sure to get his teammates involved and committed just two turnovers. He's increased his points per game over each of the past three seasons and has averaged 10-plus assists over the same stretch.

Wall will not play in Friday's preseason finale against the Knicks for rest purposes, Candace Buckner of The Washington Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
Wall has seen plenty of playing time this preseason, so Friday's finale will serve as nothing more than a day off for the All-Star point guard. Tim Frazier will start at point guard in his absence Friday, while Wall should be a full go for the regular season opener against the 76ers on Wednesday.

Wall scored 19 points (9-14 FG, 1-2 3Pt) while adding six assists in 24 minutes during Friday's preseason win over the Knicks.
EDGE Analysis
He also committed five turnovers, but it was still a strong exhibition debut for the All-Star. Wall is coming off the best season of his career, and in an Eastern Conference that suddenly appears more wide open than it's been since LeBron James returned to Cleveland, the 27-year-old has all the motivation he needs to continue elevating his game.

Wall will not play in Monday's preseason opener against Guangzhou of the Chinese Basketball Association, Candace Buckner of the Washington Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
The decision doesn't appear to be injury-related, as the Wizards will simply opt to rest Wall in what's ultimately a meaningless contests. Wall's backcourt mate, Brad Beal, will be limited to approximately 10 minutes, per coach Scott Brooks. Tomas Satoransky will get the start at point guard in Wall's place.

Wall agreed to a four-year, $170M extension with the Wizards on Friday, Shams Charania of The Vertical reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Wizards offered Wall an extension at the beginning of free agency, but he was expected to take some time and allow the team to assemble their roster before making a final decision. Ultimately, he opted to to accept the team's max-extension offer as opposed to entering free agency next summer. The 26-year-old is entering his prime and coming off the best season of his career, in which he recorded career highs in points, assists, and steals. He figures to be primed for another big season.

Wall scored 18 points (8-23 FG, 1-8 3Pt, 1-2 FT) with 11 assists and seven rebounds across 44 minutes in Monday's 115-105 Game 7 loss to the Celtics.
EDGE Analysis
Wall down firing, but unfortunately went cold in the second half-- he missed his final ten shots in the game and finished with his lowest point total of the series. Despite his poor shooting, Wall managed to record his fourth double-double of the series and his seventh overall in the playoffs. Wall finished the series averaging 25.1 points on 39.8 percent from the field with 10.3 assists.

Wall went for 26 points (9-25 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 6-8 FT), eight assists, two rebounds and two blocks across 42 minutes during a 92-91 win over the Celtics on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
Wall couldn't buy a bucket in the first half, but got hot late and sunk the game-winning three pointer with 3.5 seconds left to force a Game 7. After a horrific 1-of-12 start from the field, he rebounded nicely by going 8-of-13 to close out the game. Wall has scored at least 20 points in every game of this series, so expect more of the same in Game 7.
