Coach Scott Brooks said the Wizards are hoping Wall (knee) will be cleared for 5-on-5 work by the end of the week, Chris Miller of NBC Sports Washington reports.
EDGE Analysis
To date, Wall has remained limited to 5-on-0 work, but Brooks noted that the point guard had his best workout on Sunday since undergoing knee surgery back in late-January. Wall, who has not played since Jan. 25, will likely need to log a couple of full-contact practices before returning to game action, but if he's able to play 5-on-5 by the end of the week, there's a chance he could be back on the floor for the Wizards before the calendar turns to April. Regardless, the hope is that Wall is able to log at least a handful of games before the start of the postseason, which seems likely, considering Washington plays six games between Apr. 1 and the end of the regular season on Apr. 11.

Wall (knee) went through 5-on-0 work with the Wizards' starters ahead of Monday's practice, Candace Buckner of the Washington Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
Wall reportedly put in about a 35-minute session with the team, with coach Scott Brooks saying afterwards that Wall "looked good." It appears he continues to ramp up his activity, though an official timetable for his eventual return isn't quite clear yet. Once Wall is given the green light for full-contact work, that should be an indicator that a return is forthcoming.

Wall (knee) is expected to participate in a pregame workout prior to Saturday's matchup with the Heat, Candace Buckner of The Washington Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
Wall is now traveling with the team and continues to make steady progress. He's finally beginning to ramp up his activity in an effort to make a return in mid-to-late March. Look for more updates on his status in the coming weeks as his anticipated return date approaches.

Wall (knee) was able to do some light shooting Tuesday and coach Scott Brooks said he was moving around "pretty good," Zach Rosen of WashingtonWizards.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
It's been roughly five weeks since Wall underwent a procedure on his left knee and with this recent news of him getting back on the court for some light shooting, it appears he continues to progress well in his recovery. The original expectation was that Wall would be cleared for a return in mid-to-late March, so look for him to continue to ramp up his activity over the next few weeks in anticipation of getting back to game action. That said, the Wizards likely won't rush Wall back in order to avoid any sort of setback for their superstar, so fantasy owners will have to continue to be patient with the recovery process. Wall's next step appears to be upping his drill work and potentially taking part in some limited contact, so look for another update once he's increased his activity once again.

Wall (knee) will return to light on-court activities sometime over the weekend, Zach Rosen of the Wizards' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Wall was relieved of his crutches in mid-February, with this news of him stepping back on the court marking another important milestone in his recovery. If he timetable stays true, and there's been no indication it will change, he'll likely be looking at a return to game action in mid-to-late March at the earliest.

Wall (knee) is no longer using crutches, Candace Buckner of the Washington Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
Wall made the revelation during his media availability over All-Star Weekend, remarking that he's done with the crutches less than three weeks after undergoing surgery on his left knee. Still, Wall did not have much to say when asked to gauge when he might return to game action. "I really don't know because I'm just doing everything the doctors are telling me," Wall said. "I haven't really tried to get back on the court yet so, just doing the little things. And I haven't started running yet. So whenever I get to that point I can kind of start grasping stuff and understanding what level I'm at but right now it's between six-to-eight weeks. It might be longer but I don't know. I haven't got to that point." Wall went on to confirm that he'll begin traveling with the team after the All-Star break, but at this point it seems unlikely that he'll be back on the court until sometime in mid-to-late-March, at the earliest. Washington has 25 regular season games remaining, 14 of which will be played on their home court.

Updating a previous report, Wall's left knee procedure, which he will undergo Wednesday, is expected to sideline him for 6-to-8 weeks, Candace Buckner of The Washington Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
The scope will be performed in Cleveland by the same surgeon that conducted surgeries on both of Wall's knees in May of 2016. Though he's rarely been at full strength for the past season and a half, Wall hadn't missed significant time due to the knee issues, but the upcoming procedure could keep him off the court for up to two months. Wall's absence looms especially large with 16 of the Wizards' next 20 games coming against would-be playoff teams, so it wouldn't be surprising if Washington looked to the trade market to upgrade its options at point guard. For now, Tomas Satoransky looks poised to continue starting at the position, though he may share the minutes fairly equitably with Tim Frazier.

Wall is scheduled to undergo a cleanup procedure on his left knee Wednesday and is expected to miss the next six weeks, Candace Buckner of The Washington Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
Wall, who previously underwent surgeries on both of his knees in 2016, experienced soreness in his left knee following the Wizards' Jan. 25 game against the Thunder and was sidelined for the team's last contest Saturday against the Hawks. After being evaluated by the doctor who performed his previous surgeries, it was determined that Wall will require a minor operation again, which will likely sideline him through mid-March. With an extended absence on tap for Wall, Tim Frazier, who tallied 14 assists across 27 minutes Saturday, and Tomas Satoransky should continue to split minutes at point guard, though it wouldn't be surprising if the Wizards explored the trade market to bolster their depth at the position.

Wall (knee) is listed as doubtful for Tuesday's game against the Wizards, Zach Rosen of WashingtonWizards.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Wall was held out of Saturday's game with soreness in his left knee, and all signs point to another absence Tuesday, though he hasn't officially been ruled out. The All-Star will fly to Cleveland on Monday for a second opinion on the knee, after which there should be some more clarity on the situation. As of now, expect Tomas Satoransky to make another start at point guard Tuesday.

Wall will not play in Saturday's game against the Hawks due to soreness in his left knee, Candace Buckner of The Washington Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
This is the first we are hearing about a knee issue for Wall, so it is unclear how serious the injury is. The Wizards could simply be erring on the side of caution with their prized point guard in order to avoid a lingering issue. In his absence, Tim Frazier will figures to fill at point guard with the starting unit, but some combination of the other starters, especially Bradley Beal, will presumably be called on to fill Wall's offensive void. Expect an update on his status if the team provides more information on the injury. At this point, consider him be day-to-day going forward.
