Hawks center Johan Petro scored 11 points and tied his career-high with 15 rebounds in a fill-in start for Al Horford on Saturday. Petro even chipped in a steal and a block in his 31 minutes, about as good a game as we could have hoped for from the eight-year veteran. Horford (hamstring) has until Wednesday to recuperate, which makes Petro a very dubious fantasy pickup.

Johan Petro had six points, seven rebounds and one block in another start at center for the Hawks on Saturday. He also dished out two assists in 18 minutes of action. Zaza Pachulia is done for the year with a partially torn Achilles, which guarantees Petro a role in the rotation, but his fantasy relevance will vanish once Al Horford (illness) returns.

Johan Petro went to the locker room in the first quarter of Monday's game. He's dealt with some back issues and it's unclear what the injury is. Petro played 19 minutes on Sunday, but he doesn't have fantasy value in the vast majority of leagues.

Johan Petro grabbed a season-high 11 boards with 10 points and two assists in Wednesday's 96-92 win over the Lakers. He matched his season high in points and it was obviously his best game of the year. Petro has four DNPs in his last seven games, so his value will evaporate once Josh Smith can return to the lineup.

Johan Petro had 10 points, six rebounds and zero blocks in his second consecutive start at center, logging 14 minutes in the Hawks' home loss. Zaza Pachulia (Achilles) has no return date, but owners shouldn't get too comfortable with Petro as the starting center, which shifts Al Horford (15 points, 12 rebounds) to PF and Josh Smith (12 points) to SF. Larry Drew frequently changes his lineups on-the-fly and he'll probably lean toward small lineups vs. the Heat on Tuesday and the Suns on Friday.

Johan Petro sounded off on his role with the Hawks this season, calling his experience "awful." "It's just tough to be in that position," he said. "That's the business." He's played in less than a third of the Hawks games this season and is averaging 2.4 points to go along with 1.8 rebounds. An unrestricted free agent after the season, we think it's safe to say he won't be returning to Atlanta.

Johan Petro (illness) played three and a half minutes on Wednesday, scoring two points and grabbing one rebound. Petro has zero fantasy value in every format.
