Johnson will enter the starting five for Wednesday's regular-season finale against the Kings, Rockets play-by-play announcer Craig Ackerman reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Rockets are holding out eight regular contributors, including the likes of James Harden (ankle) and Chris Paul (rest). As a result, Johnson will be able to pick up the start and is essentially guaranteed to log more than 30 minutes barring an injury. Look for Johnson's overall production to see a fairly significant spike considering his playing time and usage will be way up for Wednesday's finale.

Johnson added four points (2-6 FG, 0-3 3Pt) and three rebounds across 18 minutes during Houston's 96-94 win over Portland on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
The 36-year-old has only produced one game above the 20-point mark this year as it is becoming apparent that he is not much of a offensive threat anymore. Johnson is currently averaging 6.9 points and 3.2 rebounds in 52 games played this season.

Johnson was a healthy scratch Sunday, perhaps earning himself a rest day.
EDGE Analysis
Johnson failed to see any court time Sunday after seeing limited action in the previous five games. He is a mere fringe rotation guy on his new team and holds no real value other than as a possible streaming option, but only when others around him are resting, which isn't very often.

Johnson (illness) is no longer listed on the injury report for Friday's game against the Raptors, Jonathan Feigen of the Houston Chronicle reports.
EDGE Analysis
Johnson missed the last two games with an illness, but appears ready to get back into the action after an extended break. He'll slot back into the wing rotation and could push for minutes in the lower 20's with Ryan Anderson (hip) still sidelined. Johnson's return will likely mean less of a workload for Gerald Green.

Johnson (illness) is out for Wednesday's contest against the Bucks, Jonathan Feigen of the Houston Chronicle reports.
EDGE Analysis
Johnson missed Tuesday's contest against the Thunder due to an illness, which caused him to be initially listed as questionable for Wednesday's game. He's apparently still feeling too sick to play, however, and will sit the contest out. In his stead, Gerald Green could see solid minutes again, as he played 15 minutes Tuesday and posted six points and grabbed three rebounds.

Johnson (illness) is questionable for Wednesday's contest against Milwaukee, Mark Berman of Fox 26 Houston reports.
EDGE Analysis
Johnson was absent from Tuesday's contest against the Thunder as a result of an illness, which has apparently carried over in some capacity to Wednesday. If he ends up missing the game, Gerald Green could see rotational minutes off the pine once again. He played 15 minutes Tuesday, posting six points and three boards.

Johnson is listed as out Tuesday against Oklahoma City.
EDGE Analysis
The news comes courtesy of the team's game notes, and while those are subject to change, at this point it looks as though Houston is preparing to be without the veteran. Look for official confirmation on Johnson's status at shootaround Tuesday morning.

Johnson had nine points (2-9 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 4-4 FT), three rebounds and one steal in 31 minutes during Wednesday's 100-91 victory over Sacramento.
EDGE Analysis
Johnson made his Rockets debut Wednesday, appearing rusty but still seeing good minutes. He should be able to carve out a nice role off the bench but will see his time take a hit upon Trevor Ariza's (hamstring) return. Even on his new team, he remains an option only in the deeper formats, barring any major injuries to those players above him in the rotation.

Johnson will be available for Wednesday's game against the Kings, Jonathan Feigen of the Houston Chronicle reports.
EDGE Analysis
While Johnson reached a buyout agreement with the Kings over the weekend, he had to wait to officially clear waivers before signing with the Rockets. With that process now complete, Johnson will be an option off the bench for coach Mike D'Antoni, but his role will likely be somewhat limited. That said, should the game turn into a blowout, it's certainly possible Johnson could see some extended run with the second unit.

Johnson won't be available for Tuesday's game against the Timberwolves, Jonathan Feigen of the Houston Chronicle reports.
EDGE Analysis
Johnson still has yet to officially sign with the Rockets, so as expected, he won't be ready to take the court Tuesday. The Rockets play next on Wednesday vs. the Kings, though it remains to be seen if everything will be fully completed in time for Johnson to make his Rockets debut then. For that reason, we may have to wait until after the All-Star break for Johnson to play, but continue to monitor the situation for the time being.
