Bayless (toe) played 15 minutes off the bench and contributed two points (1-3 FG, 0-2 3Pt) and two assists Monday in the Timberwolves' 130-120 win over the Clippers.
EDGE Analysis
Due to a surfeit of injuries in the backcourt, Bayless had drawn six straight starts at point guard before sustaining a toe injury last Thursday in Orlando that resulted in him missing the second half of a back-to-back set. Though Bayless got the green light to play Monday, he saw only a limited role off the bench with both Jeff Teague and Derrick Rose back in the mix after recovering from injuries that kept both sidelined for multiple contests. Now third in the pecking order among the Wolves' healthy point guards, Bayless will probably fill only a limited role off the bench moving forward and could drop out of the rotation entirely when Tyus Jones (ankle) likely returns shortly after the All-Star break.

Bayless (toe) has been cleared to play Monday against the Clippers.
EDGE Analysis
Bayless missed the last game with a minor toe issue, but the Wolves will have both he and Jeff Teague healthy for the first time in multiple weeks. Bayless has been a productive fill-in for Teague, and it's unclear how the pair of veterans will split the workload Monday night with Derrick Rose also available as a backcourt option.

Bayless (toe) is listed as questionable for Monday's game against the Clippers.
EDGE Analysis
Bayless missed the Wolves' last game with a big toe injury. The team's backcourt has been hit with a number of injuries, so Bayless was averaging 36.5 minutes per game. With Tyus Jones doubtful and Derrick Rose also questionable, Bayless could be in line for another large workload if he is able to go. More information on his status should come out following the team's morning shootaround on Monday.

Bayless (toe) will not play in Friday's game versus the Pelicans, Alan Horton of the Timberwolves Radio Network reports.
EDGE Analysis
Bayless has played admirably in an extended role recently due to a plethora of injuries in the Timberwolves' backcourt, but he will be unable to go Friday. In his absence, Isaiah Canaan will draw the start at point guard, while Jeff Teague will be available off the bench following a relatively lengthy injury stint. Consider Bayless day-to-day heading into Monday's matchup with the Clippers.

Bayless (toe) is listed as questionable for Friday's game against the Pelicans.
EDGE Analysis
Due to the glut of injuries at point guard, Bayless has started the last six games at the position, averaging 11.5 points, 7.3 assists and 4.2 rebounds in 36.5 minutes per game during those contests. However, after hurting his foot in the front end of the back-to-back set Thursday in Orlando, Bayless has become the latest in a long line of injured floor generals. Minnesota has already ruled Derrick Rose (ankle) and Tyus Jones (ankle) out for the contest, while Jeff Teague (foot) joins Bayless with the questionable tag. If both Teague and Bayless are sidelined, fifth-string option Isaiah Canaan would pick up all the minutes he can handle as the team's starter.

Bayless is questionable for Friday's game against Orlando due to a toe injury, Chris Hine of the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.
EDGE Analysis
Bayless left Thursday's matchup with the Magic after suffering an apparent toe injury, but the team failed to provide any further updates. He was held scoreless but recorded two rebounds along with three assists and a steal in 27 minutes in Orlando. Expect an update on his status as tipoff nears. Jeff Teague (foot), Derrick Rose (ankle) and Tyus Jones (ankle) are all questionable for Friday's tilt, so if Bayless can't go, the Timberwolves would likely turn to Isaiah Canaan to handle a large workload at point guard.

Bayless was held to five points (2-10 FG, 1-4 3Pt), eight assists and two rebounds in 37 minutes Tuesday in the Timberwolves' 108-106 loss to the Grizzlies.
EDGE Analysis
With the top three point guards on the depth chart still sidelined, Bayless drew his fifth consecutive start Tuesday. The veteran had paid dividends for those who scooped him off the waiver wire with double-doubles in the Timberwolves' past two games, but he turned in a dud in the first of Minnesota's three contests this week. It's far from a lock that any of the Wolves' injured point guards will be ready to play Thursday in Orlando, so Bayless could at least have a path to big minutes for one more game.

Bayless tallied 15 points (6-12 FG, 3-7 3Pt), 10 assists, and three rebounds in 35 minutes during Saturday's 107-106 loss to the Nuggets.
EDGE Analysis
Bayless remained in the starting lineup despite the return of Derrick Rose, finishing with 15 points and 10 assists in 35 minutes. There is still no timetable for Jeff Teague's (ankle) return and it appears as though Bayless is going to hold the starting spot moving forward. As long as he is playing big minutes, Bayless is worth rostering in most formats.

Bayless accumulated 19 points (6-13 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 3-4 FT), three rebounds and six assists through 37 minutes Sunday against Utah.
EDGE Analysis
The Timberwolves continue to deal with an injured backcourt, and Bayless has answered the bell with four straight double-digit scoring outputs. The 30-year-old is just one of two healthy point guards for Minnesota at this point, so he should continue to see plenty of opportunities as long as Jeff Teague (foot) and Derrick Rose (ankle) remain sidelined. Bayless is putting up 13.4 points, 3.8 rebounds and 5.6 assists over his previous five contests.

Bayless delivered 11 points (4-14 FG, 3-7 3Pt), eight rebounds, five assists, one steal and one block across 40 minutes in the Timberwolves' 106-102 loss to the Jazz on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
Bayless entered the starting five as a result of the Timberwolves' ongoing barrage of backcourt injuries, and he gave a solid accounting of himself overall. While the veteran's shot was clearly off, his productive showing on the boards and as a facilitator helped keep him helped him to the third-best statistical effort on the T-Wolves for the night. With Derrick Rose (ankle), Jeff Teague (foot) and Tyus Jones (ankle) all questionable for Sunday's rematch versus Utah, it's conceivable Bayless draws another start in that contest, or at minimum, logs a robust workload off the bench.
