Sochan has taken a back seat on the offensive end for most of his rookie season, but he's now put up double-digit field-goal attempts for three straight games and is converting them at a 51.5 percent clip. An unsustainable 6-for-7 mark from three-point range has fueled some of that success, however, so fantasy managers may not want to rely on Sochan serving as a consistent source of secondary scoring behind Keldon Johnson. Sochan's recent hot run should at least put him on the radar for a pickup in 12-team category leagues. Even if his shooting cools off, his minutes at least look safe while the 14-33 Spurs prioritize his development.

Keldon Johnson and Tre Jones have thus far benefited the most while Devin Vassell (knee) has been out for eight straight games with an injury that will sideline him at least through the All-Star break, but a tertiary role in the Spurs' scoring attack is there for the taking if Sochan wants to claim it. Though he averaged just 7.2 points per game on 35.3 percent shooting from the field during the first six games of Vassell's absence, Sochan has reached the mid-teens in points in both the past two contests. He's achieved his scoring production mostly on the back of elevated efficiency (60 percent shooting from the field), so Sochan will need to increase his usage on the offensive end in order to maintain the uptick in scoring before regression with his shooting inevitably sets in.

Sochan was initially slated to come off the bench, with Keita Bates-Diop sliding into the starting power forward slot. However, Sochan will instead make his 12th consecutive start Wednesday and should see his typical workload.

Sochan has gained league-wide notoriety after shooting one-handed free throws, but he's also playing well overall and is making an impact as a fantasy asset while settling as a starter for a struggling Spurs team. Sochan has scored in double digits in five of his last six starts while grabbing at least five boards in those outings. He ended December with averages of 11.0 points, 6.2 rebounds and 3.2 assists across 25.6 minutes per game.

Sochan ended with 16 points (7-16 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), nine rebounds, four assists, two blocks and one steal across 30 minutes during Tuesday's 130-114 loss to Oklahoma City.

Sochan had been held to six points in 31 minutes during Monday's matchup with the Jazz, but he fell just one rebound shy of a double-double Tuesday night. He's now secured nine rebounds in three of his last four matchups and continues to make an impact across the board for this Spurs team. Sochan is putting up 8.5 points, 4.7 rebounds and 2.5 assists through 28 appearances this season.

Sochan chipped in 13 points (6-14 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 1-1 FT), nine rebounds, four assists and one block across 26 minutes during Friday's 133-113 loss to Orlando.

Sochan ended just one rebound shy from posting what would've been his first double-double of the season, and the former Baylor standout has now scored in double digits while pulling down at least seven rebounds in each of his last three outings. Sochan posted a season-high scoring total while leading the team in the category, finishing one rebound and four assists shy of a triple-double. Sochan has recorded at least 10 points, five rebounds and five assists on three occasions this year.

Sochan will receive the starting nod over Keita Bates-Diop Thursday, but fantasy managers should still temper expectations for Sochan considering he has failed to record more than 23 minutes since returning from injury. However, more offensive opportunities should be available with Keldon Johnson (hamstring) sidelined.
