Jeremy Lin (chest) will be a game-time decision for Monday's Game 4 against the Thunder.
He tapped out after just 18 minutes of action and was grimacing throughout Saturday evening. Patrick Beverley would take over as the starter and would need to turn in a better effort than Saturday's 3-of-10 shooting, especially when Derek Fisher is covering him.

Jeremy Lin was bothered a bruised chest in Saturday's loss to the Thunder and had two points, one assist and one turnover in 18 minutes.
He checked out at the 7:09 mark in the third quarter and did not return. Lin was dealing with his chest bruise in warmups and he was sporting a big ice pack on his chest for most of the second half. Patrick Beverley (six points, three assists and one block) took over most of the point guard duties, but wasn't able to follow up his strong Game 2, shooting 3-of-10 from the field on Saturday. Lin could miss Game 4 on Monday.

Jeremy Lin (chest) will play against the Thunder in Saturday night's Game 3.
He should be able to handle his normal amount of playing time with just a muscle bruise. The Rockets made Game 2 very close and with Russell Westbrook (knee) out for the playoffs, this could become an interesting series. Lin will matchup against Reggie Jackson and the point guards will both attempt to attack the basket.

Jeremy Lin (chest) went through shootaround Saturday and remains a game-time decision.
Lin remains a game-time decision for tonight's Game 3 against the Thunder after he suffered a chest contusion during Wednesday's Game 2. Lin has been optimistic he'd be able to suit up Saturday night but we likely won't know until around pregame warmups. Patrick Beverley could get more run if Lin can't go.

Jeremy Lin (chest) did not practice Friday.
Lin is headed for a true game-time call in Saturday night's Game 3 against the Russell Westbrook-less Thunder. His injury is being called a "chest contusion," which doesn't sound too bad unless his range of motion is compromised. Considering the Rockets are facing an 0-2 deficit, we'd be a little surprised if Lin sat out.

Jeremy Lin (bruised chest) no longer has muscle spasms and he's "hopeful and optimistic" that he'll play in Game 3 on Saturday.
"We tried to do that shooting motion just to get range of motion [on Thursday], said Lin. "I have range of motion but I just don't think I have any force. We'll try again tomorrow." Patrick Beverley has emerged as a backcourt force in the series, but Houston needs all hands on deck if they hope to overcome an 0-2 deficit and defeat the Thunder.

An MRI confirmed that Jeremy Lin suffered a bruised chest on Wednesday's loss to Oklahoma City.
This is good news for Lin that there is nothing structurally wrong. He is listed as a game-time decision for Saturday's Game 3 at home, but he's likely a little closer to probable than doubtful. Patrick Beverley could be in line for more minutes regardless of Lin's status due to his impact on Wednesday.

Jeremy Lin is officially listed as questionable with his chest injury for Game 3 vs. the Thunder.
"It was fine as I was sitting here at halftime," he said. "I tried to run out of the tunnel and couldn't really run. When I did, it would go crazy. We're supposed to just see what happens tomorrow, how it feels tomorrow." Lin received treatment in the second half, but he never returned to the bench. Patrick Beverley, who exploded in Game 2, would be in line for big minutes again if Lin can't suit up.

X-rays were negative on Jeremy Lin's right chest injury that limited him to just 20 minutes, seven points and three assists in Wednesday's Game 2 loss.
Lin sounds like he plans on playing in Saturday's Game 3 in Houston, but he has some sort of bruise or pulled muscle in his chest, leaving him very iffy. With or without Lin, it would appear that Patrick Beverley has locked himself into heavy minutes and a prominent role with Houston going forward after racking up 16 points, 12 rebounds, six assists, two steals, a block and two 3-pointers in the tough loss.

Jeremy Lin was unable to start the second half of Wednesday's Game 2 due to a bruised muscle in his right chest.
Lin came out for the second half intending to play, but was clearly in too much pain to do so. Maybe he'll get something for his pain and be able to return to the game, but it would not be surprising if he's done for the night given how badly he appeared to be hurting. Patrick Beverly was already starting alongside Lin, so Carlos Delfino got the second-half start.
