Teague is starting Friday's game against the Magic.
EDGE Analysis
The Celtics are without several players in their return to the court Friday, and Teague will be in the starting five for the second time this season. Over his first eight appearances this season, he's averaging 7.0 points, 2.6 rebounds and 2.6 assists over 20.1 minutes per game.

Teague (ankle) is cleared to play Friday against the Wizards, Mark Murphy of the Boston Herald reports.
EDGE Analysis
After missing two straight games, Teague will be back in action. With the Celtics missing a variety of rotation players due to COVID-19 protocols, Teague could see some extra usage, though he's yet to garner more than 25 minutes in a single contest this season.

Teague (ankle) is questionable for Friday's game against the Wizards.
EDGE Analysis
Teague has missed the past two games with a sprained left ankle, but he could return Friday. That would likely mean fewer minutes for Tremont Waters.

Teague (ankle) will not play Wednesday against the Heat, Tim Reynolds of the Associated Press reports.
EDGE Analysis
Marcus Smart (thumb) is back, which helps make up for the loss of Teague. Still, with Teague sidelined, Payton Pritchard should continue seeing plenty of run.

Teague (ankle) is questionable for Wednesday's game against the Heat, Brian Robb of BostonSportsJournal.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The sprained left ankle has Teague's status in doubt for Wednesday after he missed his first game of the season during Monday's win over the Raptors. If the veteran point guard has to miss his second game in a row, Payton Pritchard and Tremont Waters would benefit.

Teague (ankle) will not play in Monday's game against Toronto.
EDGE Analysis
This is not too surprising considering Teague sprained his left ankle during Sunday's win over the Pistons and was unable to return to the game. It's unclear if the veteran will miss multiple games, but the Celtics will play it safe on the second half of a back-to-back. Expect rookie Payton Pritchard, who played a career-high 28 minutes Sunday, to pick up some more run Monday night.

Teague sprained his left ankle in Sunday's game against the Pistons and will not return.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran played 17 minutes off the bench before exiting, and he finished with two points, three rebounds and two assists. It wouldn't be a surprise if Teague is held out of Monday's game in Toronto on the second night of a road-road back-to-back.

Teague scored 12 points (4-5 FG, 1-1 3PT, 3-4 FT) to go along with one rebound, three assists and two steals across 20 minutes in Friday's loss to the Pistons.
EDGE Analysis
Teague's role remains stable, as he's played between 19 and 22 minutes in each of his last five games. As a result, he hasn't poured in points and has reached double-digits only twice this season. Notably, however, Teague has averaged 2.0 steals per game to make solid contributions on the defensive side of the floor.

Teague is in the starting lineup Wednesday against the Grizzlies.
EDGE Analysis
The 32-year-old will join the starting five for Wednesday's contest with Tristian Thompson (hamstring) unavailable. Teague is averaging 8.5 points, 2.5 assists, 2.3 rebounds and 1.5 steals in 21.8 minutes off the bench through the first four games of the season.

Teague amassed nine points (0-6 FG, 9-10 FT), three rebounds, two assists and two steals in 22 minutes during Sunday's 108-107 loss to the Pacers.
EDGE Analysis
After a hot start to the season, Teague has regressed back to what we thought he might be in his new role. His playing time appears locked into the low-20's, a number that is typically insufficient when it comes to standard league production. While his value is limited, Teague remains a possible streaming option, at least until Kemba Walker (knee) returns to action.
