The rookie will not be available Monday with a sprained right wrist. He was a DNP-CD in each of the last three games, so it's unclear when the injury may have occurred. In Saturday's loss to Miami, Bouknight got into a verbal altercation with coach James Borrego and was escorted back to the Hornets' locker room mid-game.

Sans garbage time, he is still closer to the end of the bench in Charlotte than achieving relevance as a fantasy asset

EDGE Analysis

Bouknight has struggled to earn consistent minutes off the bench for Charlotte but has had a few excellent performances. However, that hasn't been enough to carve a regular role in the rotation. Under that scenario, Bouknight is likely to remain a last-resource fantasy alternative that shouldn't even be looked at outside of the deepest formats -- and even in that scenario, he wouldn't be anything more than a streaming option.
