Evans was scoreless (0-2 FG, 0-1 3Pt) and posted one rebound, two blocks and one steal across 18 minutes during the Warriors' 122-94 preseason win over the Kings on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
The 2018 first-round pick was quiet for the second time in as many games to open preseason while coming off the bench behind a spectacular effort from Klay Thompson. Evans is likely to see much more playing time during the exhibition slate than he will once the regular season kicks off, considering Thompson's typically robust minutes load and the presence of Patrick McCaw (contract issue) ahead of him on the depth chart.

Evans will sit out Friday's summer league finale for rest purposes, Anthony Slater of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Evans dealt with bruised rib late last week and while he returned to action over the weekend, there's no real reason for the Warriors to continue to have him play in summer league. The team's first-round pick this year finishes the Sacramento and Las Vegas Summer Leagues playing in a combined five games with averages of 5.8 points and 2.8 rebounds across 19.6 minutes. Look for Evans to be a full go ahead of training camp, though considering the talent the Warriors already have on the wing, Evans will likely only be relied upon for a handful of minutes per game.

Evans (ribs) had five points (2-8 FG, 0-5 3PT, 1-2 FT) in Sunday's summer league loss to Houston.
EDGE Analysis
The rookie exited Thursday's contest with a rib injury, but it doesn't appear to be anything serious. Evans is averaging 6.0 points and 4.0 rebounds per game through two summer league contests.

Evans played just six minutes in Thursday's 71-77 summer league win over the Lakers due to suffering bruised ribs, Mark Medina of the Merucry News reports.
EDGE Analysis
It sounds like a very minor injury for the Warriors' first-round pick, so it shouldn't keep him on the sidelines long, if at all. The Warriors open up the Vegas Summer League schedule Friday against the Clippers and Evans can tentatively be considered questionable for that contest. If he plays, Evans would likely pick up another start.

Evans scored a team-high 13 points (5-12 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT) to go along with five rebounds and two steals across 24 minutes during Tuesday's 71-54 victory over the Kings.
EDGE Analysis
The Warriors' only draft pick this year played well during his debut, despite some subpar three-point shooting. Last season, during his junior year at Cincinnati, Evans made 1.7 threes per game at 37.0 percent. So, he'll likely pick things up as he continues to see run in summer league.

Evans (toe) will make his summer league debut during Tuesday's tilt against the Kings, Mark Medina of The San Jose Mercury News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Evans sat out Monday's game against the Heat due to a toe injury he suffered in practice. But, after going through morning shootaround, he's been cleared to participate in Tuesday's game. Evans was the Warriors only draft pick this year, going 28th overall. Last year, during his junior campaign at Cincinnati, the 6-foot-6 shooting guard averaged 13.0 points, 4.7 rebounds and 3.1 assists.

Evans suffered a toe injury during a recent practice and has been ruled out for Monday's Sacramento summer league opener against the Heat, Mark Medina of the Mercury News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Evans was the Warriors' lone selection in this year's draft, but both the coaching staff and fans will have to wait at least another day to see him in action. A toe injury that Evans suffered Friday during practice is still giving him discomfort and the Warriors don't want to risk further aggravating it in what is essentially a meaningless game. The Warriors play again on Tuesday vs. the Kings before having a day off prior to Thursday's contest. At this point, it's unclear if Evans will be cleared for either of those contests.
