Maledon (shoulder) has been ruled out for Thursday's preseason game against the Celtics.

Maledon continues to deal with a shoulder injury and will be unavailable for the Hornets' final preseason matchup. However, he participated in an intra-squad scrimmage Wednesday, so it appears as though he's closing in on a return. It's possible he reports to the G League once he's back to full health.
