Wolters was waived Friday by the Nuggets, Chris Dempsey of The Denver Post reports.

Wolters was fourth on the depth chart at point guard behind Emmanuel Mudiay, Jamal Murray and Jameer Nelson, so the odds were always against him making the 15-man roster. The 25-year-old played last season in Serbia and could choose to play overseas again in 2016-17.
