Williams will draw the start at power forward for Monday's game against the Spurs, Manny Navarro of the Miami Herald reports.
EDGE Analysis
Despite finishing training camp as the likely starter at power forward for the Heat, the team opted to go with their three-point shooting specialist Luke Babbitt instead, which has severely limited Williams' playing time up to this point. After logging a total of three minutes over the Heat's first seven games, he got his first extended action of the season Saturday against the Jazz and capitalized on the opportunity with 11 points and four rebounds over 20 minutes. After his solid effort Saturday, he'll jump into the starting lineup and could see his role on the rise moving forward, which means Babbitt will head back to the bench and could see a slight decrease in minutes.
