Whiteside was signed by the Grizzlies and is in uniform for Wednesday's game, 3 Shades of Blue reports. Kosta Koufos is out with a stomach virus, so Whiteside will serve as the team's only backup center Wednesday, although Marc Gasol will probably see close to 40 minutes if it is a close game.
