Whiteside scored 27 points (10-15 FG, 7-10 FT) while adding 15 rebounds, four blocks and a steal in 35 minutes during Sunday's 106-99 loss to the Spurs.
EDGE Analysis
Despite leaving the game briefly after tweaking his knee, Whiteside returned and looked none the worse for wear. He's been a monster under the basket to begin the season, pulling down at least 14 boards and recording at least two blocks in all three games so far, and the 27-year-old seems headed for a career year as the focal point of the Heat offense with Dwyane Wade now in Chicago.
