Whiteside (oblique) has been ruled out of Sunday's game against the Hawks, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.

This will mark the fifth straight absence for Whiteside, who continues to deal with a strained left oblique. Amar'e Stoudemire is expected to run with the starters again on Sunday, while Chris Bosh is likely going to relied upon for extended minutes as well in the frontcourt.
