Whiteside (oblique) has been ruled out of Friday's game against the Bucks, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.

As expected, Whiteside's lingering oblique injury will continue to keep him sidelined Friday, which means Amar'e Stoudemire will likely fill in as the starting center. With that being said, Chris Bosh will also have to shoulder a larger load in the frontcourt, so look for extended minutes from him as well. Whiteside should also be considered questionable for Sunday's matchup with the Hawks.
