Whiteside (knee) will not play Monday in Golden State, Jason Lieser of The Palm Beach Post reports.

This does not come as much of a surprise considering the Heat downgraded Whiteside to doubtful about an hour before tip-off. Miami has opted to go small in Whiteside's absence, starting Justice Winslow at the three and Luol Deng at the four. Whitesides next opportunity to return will be Wednesday versus the Clippers.
