Whiteside is dealing with a sprained ankle and is considered doubtful to play against the Spurs on Friday, the Miami Herald reports. This is a fresh injury for Whiteside and it's still unclear when exactly it came about. Either way, Chris Andersen seems to be in line for extended playing time against the Spurs.
