Whiteside has been assigned to the Sioux Falls Skyforce of the D-League on Saturday. He had played just seven minutes in the Heat's last five games, so this makes sense. Look for him to continue to develop in the D-League, occasionally getting called up when the Heat have a need in the frontcourt.
