Whiteside (hand) is considered doubtful to play against the Hawks on Friday, Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald reports. Whiteside missed Wednesday's game against the Celtics after suffering a laceration to his right hand against the Bucks on Tuesday. The cut required stitches, and currently it's at risk of being broken open. Whiteside should continue to be considered day-to-day going forward. With Chris Andersen (calf) questionable, the Heat could again have to get creative with its starting five.
