Whiteside continues to be sidelined with a calf issue that dates back to late September. The Heat continue to take things cautiously with their big man to ensure his health for the regular season. Whiteside has yet to play in the preseason, but it would probably be beneficial if he were able to get in at least a few preseason contests, but he certainly won't be pressed into action.
