Whiteside (ankle) is active and available to play off the bench Tuesday versus the Spurs according to Tuesday's TNT broadcast.

Coach Erik Spoelstra said Whiteside looked good during Sunday's game against the Clippers, so it's not a surprise he's been cleared to play Tuesday. Coach Spoelstra also said that Whiteside could see big minutes against the Spurs, so after seeing just 17 minutes on Sunday, look for a large increase in his overall playing time. Whiteside will continue to come off the bench, while Amar'e Stoudemire will remain in the starting lineup.
