The Lakers waived Allen on Saturday, Kyle Goon of The Orange County Register reports.

Allen was unable to earn a role on the Lakers' final roster and appears to be a prime candidate to once again land on their G-League affiliate in South Bay. He averaged 8.5 points across 20.9 minutes in 43 games last season.
