Vasquez scored nine points (3-9 FG, 1-4 3P, 2-2 FT) with eight assists and four rebounds in 23 minutes off the bench during the Raptors' preseason opener on Sunday. His shot was a little rusty, but otherwise Vasquez had a strong night as the Raptors downed the Kings. He'll be the anchor of the club's second unit, and with Louis Williams and James Johnson replacing John Salmons and Steve Novak, Vasquez should have a more dangerous mix of weapons to distribute to this season.
