Vasquez got the start Friday in a win over the Clippers, and finished the game with 17 points (6-9 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 1-1 FT), three rebounds and three assists in 23 minutes. In his previous two games, Vasquez had only scored a combined 13 points, and shot 3-for-11 from the floor Monday against the Bucks. Even when he starts, though, Vasquez usually takes a back seat to DeMar DeRozan and Kyle Lowry in the offense. In his previous 15 starts this season, the Maryland product averaged 10.5 points, 3.1 rebounds and 3.9 assists.
