EDGE Analysis
VanVleet, an undrafted free agent out of Wichita State, is likely battling Brady Heslip for the bench role but has the upper hand as a more natural point guard. VanVleet averaged 6.2 points, 3.0 boards and 1.6 assists in 16 minutes a game for the Raptors' team in the Las Vegas Summer League in July.
