The Cavaliers converted Goodwin's 10-day contract to a two-way deal Sunday, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
He'll fill the two-way slot that previously belonged to center Tacko Fall, who was waived in a corresponding move. The addition of Goodwin on a longer-term pact should help the Cavaliers restore some depth in the backcourt as the team looks to overcome the season-ending injuries to Collin Sexton (knee) and Ricky Rubio (knee). Since signing his 10-day deal Dec. 31, Goodwin has appeared in three of the Cavaliers' subsequent four games while averaging 7.3 points, 4.7 assists and 3.7 rebounds in 23.0 minutes.
