Coach Doc Rivers indicated pregame that he expects Green (hamstring) to play Monday against the Knicks, John Clark of NBC Sports Philly reports.
EDGE Analysis
Green missed the last three games while battling a hamstring issue, but he was able to go through shootaround earlier in the day, and Rivers said the veteran "should be able to return" as the Sixers tip off a four-game week. While Green isn't exactly an offensive hub, his return would be a welcomed sight for a Philly team missing several key players -- Joel Embiid, Tobias Harris, Matisse Thybulle and Isaiah Joe -- due to COVID-19 protocols. Ben Simmons (personal), of course, remains sidelined indefinitely, as well.
