The Magic didn't re-sign Gillespie after his 10-day contract expired Monday, Keith Smith of Spotrac.com reports.

Since the Magic haven't placed any corresponding players in the COVID-19 health and safety protocols in recent days, the team won't receive a roster exemption from the NBA allowing the team to keep Gillespie around. The big man is expected to report back to the G League's Memphis Hustle.
