Tim Duncan (rest) will miss Thursday's game against the Nets. Gregg Popovich is wasting no time in giving new commissioner Adam Silver a welcome present by sitting his two best players in a nationally televised game Thursday night. Coming off a double-overtime win Wednesday night, Duncan will join Tony Parker on the Spurs' bench Thursday as Pop tries to keep his big man rested and healthy for the playoffs. Tiago Splitter will stand to inherit a good chunk of Duncan's minutes, while Boris Diaw should see some extra minutes and make for an interesting play in daily leagues.
