Tim Duncan (knee, ankle) is traveling with the Spurs as their upcoming nine-game road trip kicks off Wednesday. Duncan officially remains day-to-day with knee/ankle sprains and beat writers are tentatively not expecting him to play Wednesday. But the fact that he's traveling with the team confirms that his injuries are not serious. The bigger concern for owners is the likelihood that coach Gregg Popovich will handle Duncan with even more kid gloves than usual down the stretch. Last April, Timmy missed five of 16 games and played just 26.4 minutes a night.
