Thornton is reportedly being signed by the Wizards, Marc Stein of ESPN reports.

Thornton was waived by the Rockets in late February after a botched trade that attempted to send him to Detroit at the trade deadline. He will now provide depth off the bench and compete for playing time against the likes of Bradley Beal (pelvis), Alan Anderson, Garrett Temple, Kelly Oubre, and Jared Dudley. It is likely that due to the lack of space on the depth chart, Thornton will be of little to no fantasy value.
