Thornton generated two points (0-5 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), one rebound, one assist and one steal across 21 minutes in Friday's 105-94 loss to the Cavaliers.
EDGE Analysis
Thornton slotted in on the top unit with Bradley Beal (hamstring) sidelined, but his poor shooting night prompted coach Scott Brooks to lean heavily on the bench duo of Kelly Oubre (21 minutes) and Sheldon McClellan (12 minutes) for some extra run. There's a good possibility that Beal will remain out for Saturday's game against the Bulls, and while Thornton could retain starting duties in that case, it's difficult to predict how the minutes at shooting guard may be divvied out.
